Nigerian Rap Queen Pryse Unveils Own Record Label; ICON Music & Releases Hit Single; 'Queen Kong' Featuring Eva
Pryse who had been signed to Chocolate City Music posted this yesterday on her social media:
"I, Princess Esindu, popularly known as Pryse, an artist formerly signed to Chocolate City Music, hereby wish to notify my fans and the general public that my recording contract with the aforementioned company has expired and I have moved on to be the face and the headline act of my newly found record label, International Connection Music Group (I. C. O. N).Watch video after the cut
It should be noted that Chocolate City Music and I ended our contract on a cordial relationship and there is no misunderstanding whatsoever between us. M. I, Audu and Paul started me on this journey and words can't express my gratitude to them. Chocolate City will always be a part of my story. I wish every member of the CC family well in all their future endeavours.
I am ecstatic to take this next entrepreneurial step with my fans who have been so patient with me. It's really just the beginning, guys. I'm yet to scratch the surface. Please continue to stay with me.
While you await my first official single under ICON, here's the next installment of the Pryseless Freestyles series: Episode 8, Queen Kong featuring Eva Alordiah, directed by Idleworks Studios and shot on locations in Lagos. Enjoy! More from me soon.
P. S: Shoutout to my big brother, Big H, my new CEO. You have believed in me since we were kids. Now it's official. Let's get it!"
